Just a little thought

When you give an anonymous donation, you don't, and can't, expect to be recognized, acknowledged, and praised for your contributions. Most of us accept this fact.

But we cannot accept the same in relationships: when you quietly give to a relationship, you can't expect them to give back. Relationships are give and take. If you give without showing or letting the other person know, they may withdraw what they have been giving, believing that you have nothing for them to take.

I know, it's sad.

But the world is politics.

Even in relationships.
