Wednesday in the Word

Good morning!

This week for Wednesday in the Word, I wanted to talk about something we pondered over this week for class.

What does it mean for Scripture to be the Word of God?

It is a really hard, fundamental core value to explain, and to be honest, I'm not sure that I can fully even grasp what it means. It is something so... grand.

To answer what it means to say that Scripture is the "Word of God", I looked back into what the Scripture says about the Word:

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not anything made that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it." - John 1:1-5

What does this mean to you?
